Wisdom Calls to All
Proverbs 8:1-11
"Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? At the highest point along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; beside the gate leading into the city, at the entrance, she cries aloud: 'To you, O people, I call out; I raise my voice to all mankind. You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, set your hearts on it. Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right. My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness. All the words of my mouth are just; none of them is crooked or perverse. To the discerning all of them are right; they are upright to those who have found knowledge. Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.'"
Reflection
God's wisdom is not hidden or reserved for a select few—it calls out to everyone who will listen. In a world full of conflicting voices and confusing messages, divine wisdom stands at the crossroads of our lives, offering clear direction and truth to all who seek it.
The Virtuous Woman: A Portrait of Excellence
Proverbs 31:10-31
"A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants. She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks... Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised."
Reflection

Trust Beyond Understanding
Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Reflection
This foundational verse calls us to complete dependence on God rather than our limited human perspective. When we surrender our need to understand everything and trust in God's perfect wisdom, He promises to guide us on the right path.
